2021 American Neurological Association Awards

Each year the American Neurological Association presents the Derek Denny-Brown Young Neurological Scholar Award in three categories: Neuroscience, Basic Science, and Clinical Science. These are clinical awards given each year during the Annual Meeting to new members of the association who have achieved significant stature in neurological research, and who show promise and will continue making major contributions to the field of neurology.

This year, Tim was announced the winner of the Derek Denny-Brown Young Neurological Scholar Clinical Science Award. Five years ago, Tim would have never imagined winning the clinical science award but this transition from basic to clinical science through the development of individualized treatments for orphan diseases has been an incredibly rewarding one.
